New Works Festival, is committed to developing new work and providing a home for participating artists to explore and expand their creative impulses and inspirations. The Workshops will bring a group of artists including writers, actors and directors to Bay Street where they will be given the opportunity to focus on developing their project for one week ending with a public presentation for our audience on the Saturday evening. With the initiation of New Works Festival, Bay Street will further its mission and contribute in a more concentrated and effective way to the continuation and expansion of new works, the artists' commitment to their craft and the audience's participation in the process.
