Improv Squad!–Weeklong Camp for Kids Ages 7-9

Do you like Improv games? In this new camp, learn about what makes these Improv games so fun and how the world of Improv relates to the world of Theater! Students will work with a teaching artist as they experiment with different forms of improvisation and use their imagination to create their very own exercises. The camp will culminate in an Improv show for family and friends to attend.
Angie Harrell
Angie is an actor, director, acting and voice coach, and theatre educator. Her training includes an MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School. Teaching credits include the Bay Street Theater, Alliance Theatre, Georgia Shakespeare, Synchronicity Theatre, Bethel University and Harrison School for the Arts, as well
as vocal coaching for CNN. As an actor she has appeared on stage, film, television and national commercials. She recently completed Life Practice Training with Interplay International, an arts initiative promoting healing and justice. A proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA,

Inspired by the ever-popular My Life: The Musical camps, this new offering will provide lower elementary students the opportunity to learn the basics of musical theater!
Participants will take a look at the business of auditions, on-camera acting, and the process of putting together resumes, headshots, and reels.
Participants will adapt their favorite fairy tales and myths into a presentation that will be performed for friends and family on the final day of camp!
