A night this big deserves a little noise. The Howl brings together some of the East End’s most beloved musicians for a joyful, unpredictable celebration of live music, community, and the artists who make this place sing.

The Howl Concert is a one-night-only celebration of the extraordinary musicians who have helped shape the sound and spirit of the East End.

Created by Nancy Atlas for her nonprofit, Atlas For The Arts, The Howl brings together an unforgettable lineup of East End musical legends, friends, and special guests for a freewheeling night of live music, collaboration, and community.

At the heart of the evening is Nancy Atlas alongside Johnny Blood, Brett King, Denny McDermott, Joe Delia, and Greg McMullen, with an exciting lineup of special musical guests joining throughout the night.

More than a concert, The Howl celebrates the vibrant community of artists who have made the East End such a remarkable home for live music while supporting the next generation of musicians.

Proceeds benefit Atlas For The Arts, the nonprofit founded by Nancy Atlas to support music, theater, and arts programming in East End schools. Through grants, scholarships, and partnerships with local educators, Atlas For The Arts helps give young people opportunities to discover music, develop their talents, and experience the transformative power of the arts.

Come howl with us for a night of great music, unexpected collaborations, and the unmistakable sound of the East End.

Nancy Atlas

Lead Vocals

She plays her best when she is cranky. Known for getting people to sing, scream, laugh, or cry. She'll take all of it. Nancy has broken house records at The Stephen Talkhouse, The Surf Lodge in Montauk, and Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor. She chooses the East End over the road and can outshuck almost anyone with a clam knife.

Johnny Blood

Lead Guitarist / Vocals

Known for his exclusive tone and timeless touch. Johnny can play it all. There is no band without Johnny... he could have played with anyone in the world but he choose us and is the true musical foundation of everything Atlas.

Brett King

Bass

Solid Bottom, there from the beginning. He's been in our band for thirty years and is amazing, but not good at getting me a photo for our website. Thus, he is The Hoff.

"Killer" Joe Delia

Stacked Keys / Accordion

Chain Smoking, pure passion and GOD given funk. Our keyboard player does not fuck around. And he looks like Jagger. Always the best dressed and sweating by the end. Joe's playing is so damn fine it inspires the living spirits and the ghosts alike.

Denny McDermott

Drummer

A legendary world-class player who makes our band better. Denny has a list of national artists he's played with and toured alongside that would make you blush. He takes us on a trip, and it's always magical and divine. Icon on the scene... we are lucky to have him.

Greg McMullen

Pedal Steel / Electric Guitar / Vocals

The youngest member of the band in age, but not in ability. Pixie Dust maker. All around special sauce. When not ripping with Atlas he has his own band, The Fiasco. A complete gem.
