Ticket Exchanges
Exchange Policy
- Deadline: Tickets may be exchanged up to 48 hours before the performance.
- Changes: Exchanges may be made for a different performance date, time, or seat, subject to availability.
- Same Series Requirement: Tickets may only be exchanged within the same performance series.
- Eligible Series: Eligible series include Summer Mainstage Shows, Fireside Sessions, and the November show.
- Online Exchanges: To exchange tickets online, you must log in to the account used for the original purchase.
- Exchange Fees: Subscribers receive complimentary exchanges for Summer Mainstage shows. All other ticket holders are charged a $10 processing fee per ticket exchanged.
- Price Difference: If the new selection is a higher price, the difference and the $10-per-ticket exchange fee will be charged. If the new seat is a lower price, the difference is recognized as a contribution to Bay Street Theater and only the exchange fee will be charged.
Exchanging over the phone
Call the Bay Street Theater box office at (631) 725-9500 and speak with an associate or leave a voicemail detailing your request.
Exchanging In-Person
Visit the box office at the corner of Bay Street and Long Wharf during opening hours. A box office associate will help you with your transaction.
