This crackling new adaptation of Patrick Hamilton’s Gaslight, streamlined to a cast of just four actors, reframes the story to strengthen and empower the central character of Bella. In this version of the classic suspense thriller, the audience wonders, “Can Bella find the strength to save herself?”

A native of Chicago, Olivia has originated leading roles at Steppenwolf Theatre and Goodman Theatre, and most recently at Arena Stage in DC. Film: WORLDBUILDING (upcoming). TV: GOTHAM. SAM GRAVITTE is an actor and playwright. Broadway: Wicked (Fiyero) Off Broadway: White Rose, Lyrics and Lyricists. Select National Tour/Regional: Wicked, Joseph... Dreamcoat (Sacramento Music Circus), Sweeney Todd (TUTS), Almost Famous (Old Globe), Beautiful (Cape Playhouse). Sam’s plays include Hurricane (2024 O’Neill Semifinalist), The Death Lectures (developed at Monson Arts), and Ventriloquists (developed with Life Jacket Theatre). He has other work published with Broadway Licensing and has been commissioned by The Licensing House. Proud member of Life Jacket Theatre Co’s Writers Room. Producer with Pride Plays. As a vocalist, Sam has headlined shows at the 92nd Street Y, the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, Birdland Jazz Club, Provincetown, Westport Country Playhouse, and more. Rebecca Salzhauer is an actor, writer, and lifelong New Yorker. A graduate of Yale University, her favorite credits include Nina in The Seagull, #2 in The Wolves, Puffs (Cape Fear), Titus Andronicus (LaMaMa), and world premieres of Leave if No Response (The Tank) and In Absentia (St. Lydia’s). She co-wrote and starred in the web series i’m so happy for you!!!!!! which is streaming on YouTube. Proud alum of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals. Many thanks to BST and the whole Deceived team!

Dayne Rasmussen

Dayne Rasmussen recently appeared as Juror #7 in 12 Angry Men at The Suffolk and Daniel Kaffee in A Few Good Men at Studio 74 Suffolk YJCC. His other stage credits include: Now and Then (Hampton Theater Company), Strictly Murder (Hampton Theater Company), Cyrano de Bergerac (SCCC), Romeo & Juliet (Long Island Shakespeare Festival), and the title role in Dracula (Patchogue Performing Arts Center). Film credits include Again (Dan), Trust Me Bro (Declan), A Day in the City (Dane). Dayne studied with Ron Peretti at the Barrow Group, and Anne Bogart (Suzuki & Viewpoints) at The Siti Company.
