Ever been told “You have a great voice, you should be a voice actor?” Now is your chance to learn the skills you need to start! In this open level class, we will break down commercial copy, learn microphone basics, and get to know your individual vocal strengths.
The class will culminate in a final recording session to produce a demo fit for a professional voice actor.

ABOUT MARTHA LEE:
Martha Lee is a voice actor and audio engineer based locally in East Hampton. She trained in NYC at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and then performed and co-produced several plays under Marksman Theatre Group (Stop Kiss, Refuge, Beauty is Prison Time). More recently she performed in a staged reading of Hugh King’s “Lisping of a Muse” at LTV Studios. Her voice work includes commercial spots for Ikea, Burger King, Volvo, Microsoft, and many audiobooks on Audible, all recorded in her home studio. Martha has taught and coached all ages over the years, from voice and movement to audition prep and scene study. She and her husband are raising two very expressive daughters, who also get behind the microphone when asked!

Absolutely! This is an open level class, so anyone from a beginner to a pro can take it!
