In this five-day dance intensive, students will develop jazz, ballet, tap, and hip-hop technique while learning choreography to famous Broadway and pop songs! Each day will feature technique classes, exciting choreography, and opportunities to grow as a performer, all while dancing alongside peers who love dancing and musical theatre. This camp will help students build confidence and hone the dance skills needed for their current dance training, showcases, and future shows. Open to all levels – both beginner dancers and seasoned performers welcome! Culminates in a dance showcase on the last day for friends and family.

ABOUT KASIA KLIMIUK:
Kasia Klimiuk is an artist and educator who has spent the last 12 years exploring theatre as a tool for development, empowerment, and joy. She is the Executive Director and co-founder of Our Fabulous Variety Show (OFVS), a nonprofit arts organization offering inclusive performing arts and creative youth development programming throughout the East End of Long Island for both youth and adults. Kasia has an MA in Applied Theatre from the CUNY School of Professional Studies and holds a New York State K–12 Theatre Certification from the City College of New York. She also coordinates the Teeny Awards for East End Arts, celebrating the talent and dedication of local high school theatre students. Kasia has extensive experience using playbuilding and improvisation to collaboratively create original stories, fostering a strong sense of community within every group she works with. She believes theatre has the power to transform and transcend into all aspects of our lives and loves engaging with humans of all ages through the power of the arts.
ABOUT ANITA BOYER:
Anita Boyer has been studying dance since the age of 5, with a specialty in tap. She has studied under tap legend Aaron Tolson and continues to be a student because the best teachers never stop learning. She co-founded the nonprofit theatre company, Our Fabulous Variety Show with her bestie and favorite immigrant Kasia Klimiuk, and for the past 16 years they have raised it to become an incredible, inclusive and nurturing community on the East End and beyond. With over 15 years experience in producing theatre and original work, her passion is teaching and helping people of all ages realize that they possess endless potential and their unique voice is worthy of the greatest spotlight. Her favorite pastime is bringing revolutionary joy to every activist event of which she is a part!
