Sing, Sing a Song

Inspired by our ever-popular “My Life: The Musical” camps, this joyful introduction to musical theatre gives lower elementary students the chance to shine! Young performers will explore the fundamentals of song and dance all while building confidence, stage presence, and ensemble skills. Campers will learn a fun musical number complete with choreography, all leading up to a celebratory performance for friends and family on the final day of camp.

ABOUT HANNAH JANE PETERSON:

Hannah Jane is a double first namer and an award-winning cabaret artist from West Virginia who made New York City her home in 2014. A true triple threat, she is often referred to as the next Sutton Foster or the modern day Judy Garland. Named the 2019 Julie Wilson Award recipient, Hannah Jane has become a regular on many cabaret and theater stages across NYC. Some of her shows include Hey Y’all & Yee Haw and Women of an Era. Her first two shows, On My Way and Lady Legends, each played to multiple sold out audiences across Manhattan and were met with critical acclaim. She has taken her talents all across the world including stages in Canada and London. In addition to her cabaret career, Hannah Jane has a budding stage career. Credits include Fairy Queen Poinsettia in the 2025 Cirque Musica Holiday National Tour; Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar at The 14th Street Y, Francine Valli in the White Plains Performing Arts Center’s production of Jersey Boys, Emcee (Girl understudy) in Once the Musical, and Woman 2 in Heartbeat of America, both at Bristol Valley Playhouse in Naples, NY. You can also catch her in Season 5 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Alongside her performing, Hannah Jane a children’s music teacher at Manhattan Youth Downtown Community Center in NYC, a photographer, and a social media manager.
