About Shakespeare Mini-Mainstage
In this performance camp, participants will rehearse and perform an abbreviated version of a Shakespeare play. Previous titles include: The Tempest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Comedy of Errors. In addition to learning about Shakespeare’s text and the Elizabethan era in which he wrote, students will be exposed to a variety of fun activities to further their understanding of the Bard and his world, including stage combat, singing, dance and the ever-popular Shakespearean insult game.

FAQs
Please have your student dress comfortably. There will be outside “play time.” Please have your student dress appropriately or if necessary, please have them bring (or alert and approve) the instructor to use sunscreen if sensitive to the sun.
Please have your student bring a water bottle and a snack.
The instructor will provide all scripts and musical selections.
