This on-camera scene study program is designed to help performers stand out to casting directors, and create instinct driven performances. Actors will be invited to film full scenes—two to four minutes in length—from both well-known and original films, plays, and television series, covering all genres. The focus will be on making choices that feel authentic to you, rather than imitating a known scene.
Each scene will be read twice, blocked, and then shot using a two-camera setup. The class encourages actors to take creative risks, trust their instincts, and make bold, original choices that stand out.
All scenes will be edited, with a final screening held at the conclusion of the program. Every participant is guaranteed to appear in more than one scene, and footage may be used for professional reels. To ensure scenes are thoughtfully selected to best fit each actor, early registration is strongly encouraged.
