Teaching Artist
Students will explore the fundamentals of theatre — including focus, concentration, collaboration, character, and working with a partner — all while bringing their favorite fairy tales and myths to life! Guided by a professional teaching artist, students will adapt these beloved stories into an original presentation to be performed for friends and family on the final day of camp.

ABOUT ADELINE LOPEZ:
Adeline V. Lopez is an actor, singer, and songwriter from NYC. She is entering her junior year at Berklee College of Music where she studies songwriting and musical theater composition. Last summer Adeline was a teaching assistant at Bay Street, and she is so excited to return as a teaching artist and musical director! Adeline has a passion for working with kids and helping young artists find their unique voice. In 2020, Adeline led a virtual music lab for kindergarteners stuck at home during the pandemic. She has worked as a dance and gymnastics coach for local kids on Shelter Island, as a counselor at Mashmoack’s summer camp, and a music theory tutor for peers at Berklee. Adeline has performed her original songs in venues across NYC and Boston such as Rockwood Music Hall, The Groove, The Lilypad, The Middle East, and many more. Notable theater credits include Linda in Its Not Faire – the Musical, Eurydice in Eurydice, Officer Lockstock– Urinetown, Fantine – Les Miserables.
