Students will explore the fundamentals of theatre — including focus, concentration, collaboration, character, and working with a partner — all while bringing their favorite fairy tales and myths to life! Guided by a professional teaching artist, students will adapt these beloved stories into an original presentation to be performed for friends and family on the final day of camp.

ABOUT MARTHA LEE:
Martha Lee is a voice actor and audio engineer based locally in East Hampton. She trained in NYC at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and then performed and co-produced several plays under Marksman Theatre Group (StopKiss, Refuge, Beauty is Prison Time). More recently she performed in a staged reading of Hugh King’s “Lisping of a Muse” at LTV Studios. Her voice work includes commercial spots for Ikea, Burger King, Volvo, Microsoft, and many audiobooks on Audible, all recorded in her home studio. Martha has taught and coached all ages over the years, from voice and movement to audition prep and scene study. She and her husband are raising two very expressive daughters, who also get behind the microphone when asked!
