By request, this camp is now open to high school students preparing for college auditions and the upcoming theater season.
This camp is for aspiring actors ages 15 and up, focusing on audition preparation for college and high school theater programs, conservatories, and productions. The class will be conducted in a workshop setting, covering all aspects of the audition including selecting material, making strong choices, interview preparation, and finally the audition. The class will culminate with a mock interview and audition session conducted by members of Bay Street’s artistic staff and acting community, providing students with invaluable feedback and inspiration for their careers going forward!
Instructor Angie Harrell, MFA, Actors Studio Drama School (New School), is an actor, director, acting and vocal coach, with students matriculating at Harvard (MFA) and the University of Michigan (BFA). SAG-AFTRA-AEA member.
Will Pomerantz, Bay Street Theater Associate Artistic Director ( Guest Instructor, Friday August 8th)
Will Pomerantz has recently directed productions at prestigious actor
training programs including: NYU, Atlantic Theatre Company, The
American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Syracuse University. He has
been a guest artist for The Juilliard School (5 seasons), The National
Theatre Conservatory at The Denver Center, Bard Summerscape, Purchase
College Conservatory Program, The Atlantic Theatre Company School,
and Cornell University. Will is currently Associate Artistic Director of Bay
Street Theater in Sag Harbor, NY, where is has directed productions of
Ragtime, Evita and The Last Night Of Ballyhoo.

Please have your student dress comfortably. There will be outside “play time.” Please have your student dress appropriately or if necessary, please have them bring (or alert and approve) the instructor to use sunscreen if sensitive to the sun.
Please have your student bring a water bottle and a snack.
The instructor will provide all scripts and musical selections.
