ABOUT ERIC JACOBSON:
Eric received a BFA in Musical Theater from Point Park College in Pittsburgh. From there he travelled the world and performed all over NYC. Retired to the Hamptons, he has been an instructor of vocal performance (musical theatre, opera, New Orleans jazz, contemporary) and dance (ballet, jazz, tap, fosse) all over the East End working side by side with a myriad of theater companies. He also Co-hosted his own TV show called “Under the Covers” on Plum TV. Lately he has crossed the bridge from performance art to visual, showing his portraits in many U.S. galleries. Vocal performance, although, is his favorite form of art.
ABOUT MARCIA MITAS:
Marcia is happy to be back at Bay Street Theater teaching her favorite class! She has performed all over the country entertaining the masses. She can’t wait to see the next group of individuals (hopefully with some repeat students), from first time at the mic to seasoned singers. Working with students who want to hone their performance level to bucket wishes coming true. The growth is amazing through the 7-week process, and the teamwork truly gives inspiration to all those who attend. Singing is one of the best expressions a person can share with others.
