A multidisciplinary piece featuring, opera, zarzuela, dance with selections from Carmen supplemented by other works set in the Spanish-speaking world (including zarzuela). Featuring Spanish mezzo-soprano Anna Gomà, Sol y Sombra Dance Company and New Asia Chamber Orchestra. In We are Carmen all women are one woman, all at the same time. Every role is a small part of the same person forming a whole.
New Asia Chamber Music Society serves as the string quartet for the production. This will be the 6th time they have performed at Bay Street Theater.
