CARPENTRY

  

 

Get first-hand professional experience from the inner workings of a dynamic, professional theater, bolstering invaluable skills in the various aspects of technical and artistic production, as well as arts administration.

Summer Staff are full-time employees and work directly with administrative professionals over the course of a rigorous and demanding Bay Street Theater Mainstage Season. Throughout the dates of their contract, Summer Staff work with supervisors to explore their own proficiencies and suitability to the demands of life in live theater.

Positions Available

Education Assistant

The Education Assistant’s primary function will be to help facilitate the summer camps July 10–September 1, 2023.

This function will require the set-up, daily registration and daily breakdown of all summer camp activities. Additional duties may include:

  • Assist in the marketing of summer camp activities, help to coordinate summer Teaching Artists as well as participating families/students.
  • Assist The Director of Education and Community Outreach in the conception and creation of new and additional educational offerings
  • Assist The Director of Education and Community Outreach in the creation of The Study Guide for Educators and Students for the 2023 Literature Live! offering.

Employment Dates:  May 8–September 3
Housing provided in addition to weekly wage. Positions are available for any college-level or entry-level professional.
