A Letter To Our Patrons

Dear Theater Lovers,

The safety of our patrons and entire community is of paramount concern. Sadly, given the current public health crisis, we regret that we must cancel events through April. We will continue to keep you informed as things hopefully improve soon.
If you wish to get e-mail updates please join our newsletter via the link at the top of the website, or follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
Presently our Administrative and Box Offices are closed though we are all working from home.

We ask that you read the FAQ below and only contact us via email if you have a time sensitive inquiry that is not addressed below.

What shows are canceled?

As of now shows are canceled through April 2020.

We will always keep you informed through our website and Bay Street Newsletter (via email). You may sign up for our newsletter through the link at the top of our website.

Can I purchase tickets to other shows?

At the present time, you may still purchase all summer programming, including Mainstage Subscriptions, Summer camps and classes for teens and younger students alike (the most popular of which are beginning to fill up), as well as comedy specials for adults.

I had tickets to a canceled show.

Don’t fret! As a Bay Street supporter we are grateful to you and you have several options:

Consider donating your tickets back to us and receive a letter of your donation for tax purposes. As you can imagine, this is a difficult time for everyone, but especially artists and all of us who work in the arts. We would be very grateful.

If donating is not something you can do at this time, you will receive credit that can be applied to a future purchase of a 2020 Bay Street Theater ticketed event. (excludes: rental events, Goat on a Boat, film festivals, etc.)  To receive this credit you do not need to do anything. The credit for any and all canceled shows and will be automatically applied to your account.

At this time any canceled show credits will usable with this year (2020) for any Bay Street Theater ticketable event. (Not valid for rented events such a film festivals, Goat on a Boat). Credits can only be applied by purchasing tickets through our Box Office. Please do not purchase first online and then ask that credit be applied. We appreciate your understanding and patience as this the logistics of these credits and rescheduling events is no easy feat.

PLEASE NOTE: You only need to contact us via email should you want to donate your tickets. See below.

I want to support Bay Street Theater by donating my tickets.

This is a hardship for us all and we appreciate any and all donations as they will sustain us until we are able to reopen.

If you wish to donate your tickets we ask that you locate your emailed order confirmation that was sent to you at the time of purchase and reply to that email letting us you want your tickets to be donated.

Will the 2020 Mainstage Season be affected?

At this time we expect our Summer Mainstage to proceed. Subscriptions are still available for purchase. In the event that we need to make any changes you will be notified.

I'm a subscriber and want to select my seats or make changes to my dates.

We ask that you hold off on making any changes just now. You will be contacted when the Box Office reopens and we can resume seating and date selections.

I have questions or concerns that have not been addressed here.

Please contact our Box Office via email at boxoffice@baystreet.org and allow 48 hours for us to reply.

Stay safe and healthy, and we hope to see you at one of our virtual events online very soon, and of course back at Bay Street Theater as soon as we’re allowed to reopen!
