Sing us a Song!


January 27 – March 16

7pm - 9pm

A Cabaret Class for singers and actors ages 16 – 99, this eight-week workshop will pair you with a song or songs perfect for your voice and type, and teach you how to sell it! The once-a-week class will meet Monday evenings and will culminate with a final cabaret show for friends, family, and anyone else on March 16th. Singers of all abilities are encouraged to attend. There will be a professional accompanist for all classes and the final show.

Everybody Can Act!


January 28 – March 17

6:30pm - 9pm

This very popular offering returns to Bay Street in the fall of 2019! Join Bay Street’s Director of Education and Community Outreach Allen O’Reilly in this community-based offering where participants will learn the basics of theater and acting technique, through games, short scenes, and improvisation. All members of the class will work on a monologue as well as a scene that will be presented on the Bay Street stage on the final day of class.

Just for Laughs Improv


January 29 – March 18

7pm - 9pm

You don’t need to be funny to take this class.  Just be open to fun and let us teach you the rest! Join improv master Scott Baker and learn both short form and character development improvisation techniques. Participants will gain confidence in life as well as on the stage and have the opportunity to impress their friends and family in a final showcase on the last day of class!

Lights, Camera, Action!

Bay Street Theater and LTV are partnering again to provide on-camera acting training for teens and adults!
In this fast -paced course, actors ages 13-99 will learn the difference between acting on stage and acting for the camera. They will also focus on commercial copy and audition material from television and film. At the end of the session, students will receive a reel of all of their work in class!
