The time: One snowy evening.
The place: A small town American inn where odd events still take place amongst fairly odd people in early, already hysterical, 21st century.
About the playwrights: Jan Buckaloo’s plays often feature Buick salesmen, BBQ waitresses, stressed accountants, ancient women with invisible dogs, religious cranks, exhausted postmen, etc. etc. EUDORA, a one-woman show about Eudora Welty, her last play done at Bay Street, was commissioned by Sybil Christopher, starring Sloane Shelton.
When Suzanne McNear is not writing, she spends her time raising bees and tulips. She is learning to cook and her dog’s name is Gus.
