Death of a Salesman, considered to be one of the greatest plays of the 20th century, is a Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play written in 1949 by the renowned American playwright Arthur Miller. Set in the late 1940’s, Death of a Salesman follows Willy Loman, a failing salesman, and his family as they face the harsh reality of their lives that they have been denying. As Willy spirals into mental disarray and fails to achieve his own dreams, he criticizes his son Biff for not being successful. As Biff faces his own disappointments, he confronts the family on his father’s unrealistic expectations for him and his inability to face the truth about their lives. Ultimately, Miller explores themes surrounding the uncertainty of the American Dream and the struggles that families face in the wake of a changing economy, both of which are as contemporary today as when the play was written.
Joe Minutillo will be directing the production and has previously directed the Literature Live! productions of The Diary of Anne Frank, To Kill A Mockingbird, Of Mice and Men, and last year’s production of The Scarlet Letter.

Willy Cappuccio (Bernard/Stanley) is thrilled to return to Bay Street for his third time! Recent credits: Life x 3 (Thailand) and the original plays, Briar Hall (Player’s Club) and Downstairs, Front (New Canaan) Past credits: co-creator/actor in, Dispersal: A Gentrification Story (recipient of Fulbright), Censored on Final Approach (Gen. Stephens), To Kill a Mockingbird (Judge Taylor,) and Of Mice and Men (Carlson). Willy is currently editing his travel documentary, Roads Less Traveled which documents his travels in South East Asia.
Keith Cornelius (Ben/Howard) is so happy to be back at Bay Street Theater. He is pleased to play “the duo” roles of Ben and Howard in Death of a Salesman. Some of his recent theater credits are The Diary of Anne Frank, in which he played Otto Frank, and To Kill a Mockingbird, both at Bay Street Theater. He also played the part of Uncle Drosselmeyer in Hampton Ballet Theatre Company’s production of The Nutcracker at Guild Hall. He recently performed with Northeast Stages production of Comedy of Errors in which he played Antipholus of Ephesus in their outdoor Shakespeare in the Park. Keith has performed various roles in film and television over the years. One of his favorite roles was Mr. Lockhart in The Seafarer by Conor McPherson. Keith is a graduate of the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in NYC.
Chloë Dirksen (The Woman) has appeared at Bay Street as Hester Prynne in The Scarlet Letter, To Kill a Mockingbird, Conviction (understudy/performed for Sarah Paulson), The Diary of Anne Frank, The Crucible, and The Orchard Play (New Works Festival). She co-produced and co-starred in This Wide Night at Guild Hall, and performs there frequently. Chloë also works as a dialect coach: The Night Alive, (dir. Stephen Hamilton); GreenCard Wedding and AMP by Jody Christopherson - HERE in NYC, playing now. Chloë is a Toronto native and has numerous Canadian credits. Education: Circle in the Square (2 year Professional Actors’ Workshop); BA in English Literature and Linguistics from U of T. She lives in Sag Harbor.
Rob DiSario (Biff) has credits Heck Tate in To Kill a Mockingbird, John Proctor in The Crucible, and William in Men’s Lives all at Bay Street Theater, and Kenneth in The Night Alive at Guild Hall. Rob was a theatre major at Suffolk County Community College, where his credits included Chris in All My Sons, and Matt in The Fantasticks, among others. He's studied in NYC at The Actor's Center and with the Scott Freeman Studio. He has done several summer productions with the Long Island Shakespeare Festival in such roles as Hal in Henry IV part One, Fluellen in Henry V, and Slender/Doctor Caius in the Merry Wives of Windsor among others.
Rachel Feldman (Jenny/Letta) is so excited to be part of this production. After living in the city for 10 years pursuing an acting career Rachel moved out east to start working in fitness. When she's not personal training teaching barre, yoga and pre-and post natal fitness, she is with her 10 month old daughter Mimi Jayne. Rachel has had the opportunity to be involved in some great productions in the Hamptons including Yelena in Uncle Vanya at Guild Hall and Frankie in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune at the Bridge Theater. Scott T. Hinson (Happy) is thrilled to be back on Bay Street’s stage, where he previously appeared as the nasty prosecuting attorney in To Kill A Mockingbird and the good-hearted, dim-witted fisherman, ‘Popeye’, in Men’s Lives. Scott spent this past summer directing a short film he wrote entitled Michael Joseph Jason John, coming soon to a film festival near you! In recent years he has written, directed and acted in theatrical productions for the Child HELP Partnership, as well as written and directed a short film for their website: childhelppartnership.org. BFA: University of NC School of the Arts. Love to VJM.
Tina Jones (Miss Forsythe) is happy to be making her Bay Street Theatre debut. She has been a part of theatre on the East End with the Naked Stage, Guild Hall and the Mulford Farms Repertory Company. Ms. Jones holds a Masters Degree from the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and has studied with the Barrow Group in New York City. She has appeared in many regional theaters across the country. Some of which include: Berkley Rep Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company, Baltimore Center Stage, Cleveland Playhouse, The American Conservatory Theatre, San Jose Rep and the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. New York City credits include Broadway and Off Off Broadway. Film and Television credits are Law and Order and We Only Know So Much. Tina has worked extensively as a teaching artist for the Off Broadway Theatre, The Woman’s Project and Y.A.W.P. She can next be seen in Venus in Fur at The Hampton Theatre Company.
