Back by popular demand, the April 15-18 camp will include classes and games incorporating every aspect of theatre that includes acting, improv, singing, performances and dance. Students will write and perform in their own production. Theatre Camp is recommended for children ages 8 to 12 years old. The cost for one week is $315 for the four day camp per child. Class size is limited and fills up quickly. To sign up, call Loren Reese in the Bay Street Administration Office at 631-725-0818.

The camp will be lead by Karen Hochstedler and Bethany Dellapolla. Laughter and learning is what kids will enjoy in working with Karen. Her broad experience, teaching and coaching all ages, lends her the passion for developing necessary foundational skills in music and acting. She is a fun-loving person who relates well with kids. Over the past 20 years, Karen has found a multitude of ways to participate in the world of music and theater, while raising six kids alongside her loving husband. She is an accomplished pianist, a singer, actress, photographer, writer and loves working with young people in the creative arts. She finds great delight in helping young people discover their gifts and talents, and especially enjoys seeing them gain confidence about who they are, as they learn and grow.

Bethany Dellapolla will lead improv and acting exercises, and teaches all dance and choreography. She received her BA in both Theatre Performance and Radio/Television Production from SUNY New Paltz. She also graduated (with honors), from Long Island University with a Masters Degree in Childhood Education and teaches, choreographs, and directs various theatre camps, productions, and classes throughout the island and Manhattan.
