It all began in the spring of 2009 at on outdoor community program when the founder, Leander Stevenson rounded up a few of his friends to sing together as a group. Soon after, they were asked to sing on a gospel concert, and in the fall of 2009, HeavenSent was officially formed.

Over the years, HeavenSent has had the opportunity to minister to people on several venues such as the Radio One - One Love Gospel Cruise, New Artist Showcase hosted by Liz Black, the Circle of Sister's Expo in Manhattan, and the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) Conference in Brooklyn, NY.

The group members consist of Leander Stevenson, Melvin Robinson, Jr., Deu'boyce Robinson, Dana Bryant, & Jeremiah Seabury. With a unique quartet-theme mixed with a contemporary sound, HeavenSent appeals to a wide range of audiences. They are known for their humble spirits and eagerness to share God's word and compassion with others.
