RED SCARE ON SUNSET, by Charles Busch. With Charles Busch as Mary Dale, a 1950's old Hollywood star who is blissfully unaware that her houseboy is trying to seduce her husband, her husband is having an affair, her all-American best friend is a former porn star, and that all of them are being pulled into the Communist black list activity sweeping the country. Julie Halston plays Pat Pilford, a slapstick radio queen with a secret.

INTO THE WOODS, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim; book by James Lapine.
The show has won Tony's for Best Score, Best Book and Best Actress in a Musical (for Joanna Gleason's performance of the Baker's wife). The musical weaves plots of several BROTHERS GRIMM fairy tales and further explores the consequences of the characters' wishes and quests. The main characters are taken from the stories of "Little Red Riding Hood," "Jack and the Beanstalk," "Rapunzel," and "Cinderella" all tied together by a baker and his wife and their quest to begin a family. It also references to several classic tales.
