Biography

(Conductor) Nicolò Sbuelz, Italian pianist, opera coach and assistant conductor based in New York City. Nicolò has served as a rehearsal pianist, vocal coach, diction coach, prompter and chorus master with the Teatro alla Scala and Accademia del Teatro alla Scala (Milan), Teatro Valli (Reggio Emilia), Teatro Comunale “Pavarotti” (Modena), Teatro Comunale “Mario del Monaco” (Treviso), Cercle dramatique français (London), and the Opéra National de Lyon (France), and has taken part in music festivals like the Holland Festival (Amsterdam), Wiener Festwochen (Vienna, Austria), Aspen Music Festival (Colorado), and Co- Opera Company (London). He has performed as a collaborative pianist with various ensembles and soloists in Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Netherlands, Great Britain, Oman, Israel, United States, and China. Currently, he is coach and Italian consultant on staff at Wolf Tra Opera and Sarasota Opera for over two seasons. Nicolò is a graduate of the Merola Opera Program and holds degrees from the Conservatory of Music in Trieste, Università degli Studi di Pavia and the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala.
