Biography

Chloë Dirksen (Jean Louise Finch) Chloë is delighted to be back for her fourth production at Bay Street!  Bay Street credits include: the world premiere of Conviction, in which she understudied and performed the lead role;  Miep in Diary of Anne Frank; and Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible.  This past July Chloë starred in the world premiere of the multi-media performance piece Kurt Vonnegut’s Galapagos at the Parrish Art Museum. Chloë is a frequent collaborator at the John Drew Theatre Lab at Guild Hall including the recent Eastern Standard, Tongues Will Wag, Biloxi Blues, Crimes of the Heart, and Neo-Political Cowgirls’ Sneak Peek of Voyeur, and in April she created and directed The April Fools’ Show.  Chloë began her professional theatre career in her native Toronto.  Selected Canadian theatre credits: Mary’s Wedding (Lighthouse Festival Theatre), Blithe Spirit (Theatre Aquarius/Theatre at the Centre), Noises Off  (Stage West/ Theatre Aquarius), Steel Magnolias (Waterloo Stage Company), Romeo & Juliet (Alumnae Theatre). Chloë attended Circle in the Square Theatre School’s 2 year Professional Actors’ Workshop program in NYC and holds a BA in English Literature and Linguistics from the University of Toronto. She lives in Sag Harbor with her family.
