Biography

(Co-Director) Andrew Bell is a writer and director based in New York. His first short film, "Idee Fixe" screened at Cannes and at the Time Inc Theater in New York City in 2016. His theatrical debut of "A Rat in a Trap in a Cage" at the Linda Gross Atlantic Theater was hailed by critics as "raw,” “moving” and “riotously funny." He has worked extensively in opera, with highlights including an off Broadway production of L’Elisir D’Amore at the Arc Light Theater and an original libretto of La Traviata that performed at the Bay Street Theater. A graduate of Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and a mentee of media icon Victor Navasky, Bell has written for the USA Today, The Atlantic Magazine and others. His first feature screenplay "the Nowhere Man," a thriller set in the NYC abandoned subway underground, is currently in development.
