Amaya Grier

The daughter of a musician and the granddaughter of a lead singer, there is no wonder that Amaya Grier was born a star. The eldest of four siblings, Amaya has strong roots in the arts as her family is full of singers, musicians, and artists. Amaya’s talents have been recognized throughout Long Island. She was selected to join an elite selection of children to perform with the legendary Barry Manilow at Nassau Coliseum at a very young age. She then explored her innate musical talents becoming one of the best trumpet players in Nassau County. Amaya has performed at the very top levels of NYSSMA and has been featured in productions at the Art Space in Patchogue and Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, New York.  She is lead trumpeter in jazz band and is featured in her district’s marching band as well.  Amaya is a multi talented force who has also been featured as a young soloist with the world renown and award winning Uniondale Show Choir. She simply captivates her audience. Amaya delights herself in singing and dancing and somehow manages to include sports such as softball, badminton and basketball. She manages to juggle all of her talents while maintaining stellar grades and landing High Honor awards at the end of every academic year. Amaya Grier is a phenomenal talent and personality that cannot be duplicated.
