Come celebrate the Year of the Horse!

The Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival, directed by Jacqui Lofaro, is proud to present the East Coast premiere of "Penny & Red: The Life of Secretariat's Owner" on Sunday, May 4, 2:30 p.m. at Bay Street Theater.

The film, to be screened the day after the May 3 Kentucky Derby, recounts the story of Penny Chenery (Tweedy) and her champion thoroughbred Secretariat, who won the Triple Crown in 1973. Narrating the documentary, which includes previously unreleased family photos and film footage, is actress Diane Lane, who portrayed Penny Chenery in the 2012 film "Secretariat." On hand for the Q&A afterwards will be filmmaker John Tweedy, Penny Chenery's son.

Admission: $15 at the door.

More information at HT2FF.com website or info@ht2ff.com

At 12 noon, preceding the screening, is a "Triple Crown Benefit" at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, to include a 3-course luncheon, silent auction of Secretariat memorabilia and film ticket, for $125. Proceeds benefit the Secretariat Foundation, the Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue, and HT2FF. Tickets at HT2FF.com
