1) How do I get to Bay Street?

2) Is there parking available?

Public parking is available on the Long Wharf, along Bay Street, and in the village parking lot off of Main Street. Please be aware of the time restrictions for each area. In addition, as parking is often challenging, please allow for plenty of time to park and get to the Theatre.

3) Are special services offered?

Wheelchairs can be easily accommodated in the Theatre. Please notify the Box Office at the time you place your ticket order if you are in need of this service. Listening devices are also available through the Box Office 1 hour before curtain.

4)  What should I do if I can't attend a performance?

All ticket sales are final. However, you may offer them to a friend or family member. If your tickets are being held at Bay Street, please call the Box Office with the person's name who will be attending. You may also consider donating your tickets back to us. You may receive a tax-deductible receipt if we sell out that particular performance.

5)  Can I exchange my tickets for another night?

Exchange privileges are reserved for our current season subscribers.

Subscribers may exchange their tickets for any other performance of the same show. They are allowed one free exchange per show, any additional exchanges will require a service fee of $8*. Subscribers must notify the Box Office at least 72 hours prior to showtime and must have an alternate date which they would like to move into.

6) Does Bay Street give discounts to senior citizens or students?

Bay Street offers a standard 10% discount to senior citizens over the age of 65 and to students with a valid college ID. Students and seniors must mention this at time of purchase. Students rush tickets are available one hour prior to showtime in person at the Box Office with valid student ID.

7) What is the recommended age for children?

The age recommendation is different for each show. Our general rule is that any child under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Each person, regardless of age, must be able to sit quietly through the performance so as to not disrupt the enjoyment of others. Please check individual KidStreet performances for age recommendations.

8) What is your policy regarding script submission?

Bay Street Theatre accepts scripts by agent submission only.

9) Can I audition for Bay Street?

Bay Street Theatre operates under a Standard Resident Theatre Contract, LORT C, with Actors' Equity Association. Casting is by agent submission to the casting director for each production.

10) Can I rent Bay Street Theatre for my event/party/program, etc.

Yes, Bay Street is pleased to offer its public gathering facilities for rent.
